Mosquito Diversity Poster

There are around 3,500 species of mosquitoes worldwide, with approximately 90 species found in Florida. Some are pests, and others transmit pathogens causing diseases, while some primarily feed on wildlife. This poster, developed by entomologists at the UF/IFAS Florida Medical Entomology Lab, showcases the rich diversity of mosquito morphology. It features fifty-two mosquito species, including 37 important ones occurring in Florida. Sized at 11"x17", it's a fascinating exploration for enthusiasts and educational settings.
