Shipping
How much will it cost to ship my order?
The cost for shipments will be calculated at checkout based on your choice of carrier, type of service, shipping address and weight.
We're sorry, but we cannot accommodate international shipping at this time.
How will my order ship?
We use USPS, UPS and FedEx as regular carriers.
How long will it take for my order to ship out?
Most orders are processed and shipped out in 2-5 business days. We endeavor to provide tracking information via email whenever possible.
Purchasing
What is TRANSACT, and why are they charging a processing fee on web orders?
The UF/IFAS Bookstore is part of the University of Florida (UF). UF uses Transact as its secure payment processor for online orders. When you place your Bookstore order, the system directs you to the Transact portal to complete payment.
Transact does not cover the payment processing cost, and UF no longer absorbs this fee. Instead, Transact charges you for the processing cost. During checkout, Transact will apply a credit card processing fee based on your total transaction amount. The Bookstore cannot waive or refund this fee.
After checkout, you will receive an itemized receipt from Transact via email, showing both the total Bookstore order amount and the processing fee charged.
Can I place an order by phone?
For security reasons, we cannot accept payment card information by phone; however, we are glad to take customer information (name, phone, email, shipping address) and order details by phone or email. We will then send a secure payment link via email to complete the transaction. Orders will be processed and shipped once we receive notification of payment in full.
How do I make my web order tax exempt?
Please proceed to set up a Bookstore website account, and then email us with the name on the account, email, organization name and a copy of your tax-exempt certificate. We will update your account to tax-exempt status and notify you when it is complete. You can then log in again to the website (you should see tax exempt after your user name in the top right corner of the screen) and place your order(s) without sales tax.
If your order is shipping to a non-Florida address, you will not be charged sales tax.
Are any discounts available?
We offer a bulk discount of 20% on orders of 25 or more copies on hundreds of titles. UF/IFAS faculty, staff and students can receive 20% off hundreds of publications using their UF credentials and following the authentication procedure on the login page. Resellers can contact us ifasbooks@ifas.ufl.edu for a quote and/or more information.
Select products, including licensing preparation manuals and regulatory guides, are not eligible for discounts.
Can I return or exchange merchandise?
While we have traditionally had a no refunds policy, we endeavor to provide a satisfying customer experience. We understand that it can be difficult to shop for items, especially apparel, online. Please contact us if you are seeking an exchange or return and we will do our best to assist you.
Licensing manuals, workbooks and regulatory guides may not be eligible for returns or exchanges.
We will make every effort to replace damaged or defective items.

How can I find out what pesticide training manuals I need for my license?
Please contact the Pesticide Information Office, your county UF/IFAS Extension office, and/or FDACS (Florida Department of Agriculture & Consumer Services) to determine exactly which training materials you need for your license.
Do you have any apparel in the store in addition to what is on the website?
We sometimes have small amounts of additional apparel that do not appear on the website due to quantity issues, size availability, or other reasons. We welcome you to contact us at 800-226-1764 or ifasbooks@ifas.ufl.edu with your size and requirements and we will gladly check our inventory!
How can I special order a branded shirt?
Faculty and staff that are logged in on an authenticated faculty/staff account can link to our Custom Apparel Catalog from the logo items section. You can request a quote through this catalog. Please contact us for more information about logos, embellishment methods, cost and time!

How do I receive my UF discount?
Please have your Gatorlink information handy and follow the UF Authentication process and link on our login page. This will update your account to faculty/staff status and allow you access to appropriate discounts.
If I am paying with UF funds, is there a way to avoid the payment card transaction processing fee or pay by invoice?
Yes! Simply contact us at 800-226-1764 or ifasbooks@ifas.ufl.edu to inform us of your order request. We cannot accept credit card information by phone, but will take your order request and send you an invoice along with a link to an online form where you can provide your UF chartfields for payment.
Can I pick up my order instead of paying for shipping?
Yes, just choose the Pick-up In Store option under Shipping during the checkout process.
You can visit the store at 1374 Sabal Palm Drive on the University of Florida campus, 9am to 4pm Monday through Friday by appointment to make an in-person purchase. We accept major credit cards, cash and checks in our physical store.
