Tomato and Pepper Insects ID Deck

Tomato and Pepper Insects is an identification deck designed to help you distinguish between the helpful and harmful insects you might encounter on your tomato and pepper plants. Color photographs provide the detail you need to determine whether you are observing a helpful or harmful organism. This differentiation will assist you in practicing integrated pest management (IPM), enabling you to manage harmful organisms while preserving the helpful ones.

Some harmful insects covered include aphids, thrips, whiteflies, leafminers, mole crickets, pepper weevils, beet armyworms, hornworms, and tomato fruitworms. Some helpful insects include the brown lacewing, green lacewing, lady beetles, minute pirate bug, Larra wasp, and parasitic wasp.
