Invasive and Non-native Plants You Should Know

IFAS experts have curated these 3.75"x6" laminated cards to assist professionals, students, and the general public in identifying 80 non-native and invasive plant species prevalent in Florida. Each of these species is currently under the scrutiny of the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission for control in public waters and conservation lands across the state.

On the front of each plant card, you'll find a vibrant color photograph alongside the plant's name, facilitating easy visual recognition. The reverse side contains comprehensive information about the plant's appearance, leaves, flowers, fruit, ecological threat, and distribution. Organized alphabetically by scientific name, these cards are bound together with a convenient metal clasping ring, allowing customization to fit your specific needs by removing, adding, or reorganizing cards.

This deluxe set comprises 80 plant cards and 12 informational cards, featuring a glossary of plant terminology, a list of plants categorized by common and scientific names, an annotated set of illustrated plant parts, and a bibliography. To enhance utility, a practical ruler is provided on the last card.
