  • How much will it cost to ship my order?
    • For domestic shipments:

    • International order costs will be determined on an individual order basis. Please contact us via email at ifasbooks@ifas.ufl.edu for a price quote. The shipping cost quoted will not include customs duties, import/export fees, or other dues associated with international shipping. Any such fees as determined by the carrier and country of destination are the responsibility of the receiver.
  • How will my order ship?
    • Most orders to continental US addresses ship UPS Ground.
    • Orders to Alaska and Hawaii, as well as select other orders, may ship via USPS.
    • International orders may ship FedEx, UPS or USPS depending on destination and order.
    • We endeavor to provide tracking information whenever possible.
  • How long will it take for my order to ship out?
    • Most orders ship out in 2-4 business days.
    • We endeavor to provide tracking information via email on outgoing orders.
    • Due to our secure payment gateway, you must click the CONTINUE button on the payment confirmation screen in order for us to receive timely notification of your order. Orders may take an additional 5 business days if we do not receive this notification.


  • Can I place an order by phone?
    • For security reasons, we can no longer accept credit card information by phone.
    • However, we are glad to take customer information (name, phone, email, shipping address) and order details by phone or email. We will then send a secure payment link via email to complete the transaction.
    • Orders will be processed and shipped once we receive notification of payment in full.
  • How can I place an international order?
    • Please contact us via email at ifasbooks@ifas.ufl.edu with your order information including shipping address so that we can prepare a quote. A quote does not obligate you to order. If you approve the price quote, we will provide a secure online payment link via email to complete your transaction.
  • How do I make my web order tax exempt?
    • Please proceed to set up a website account, and then email us with the name on the account, email, organization name and a copy of your tax-exempt certificate. We will update your account to tax-exempt status and notify you when it is complete. You can then log in again to the website (you should see “tax exempt” after your user name in the top right corner of the screen) and place your order(s) without sales tax.
    • At this time, if your order is shipping to a non-Florida address, you will not be charged sales tax.
  • Are any discounts available?
    • We offer a bulk discount of 20% on orders of 25 or more copies on hundreds of titles.
    • UF/IFAS faculty and staff can receive 20% off hundreds of publications using their UF credentials and following the authentication procedure on the login page.
    • Resellers can contact us ifasbooks@ifas.ufl.edu for a quote and/or more information.
    • Select products, including licensing preparation manuals and regulatory guides, are not eligible for any discounts.
  • Can I return or exchange merchandise?
    • While we have traditionally had a “no refunds” policy, we endeavor to provide a satisfying customer experience. We understand that it can be difficult to shop for items, especially apparel, online. Please contact us if you are seeking an exchange or return and we will do our best to assist you.
    • Licensing manuals, workbooks and regulatory guides may not be eligible for returns or exchanges.
    • We will make every effort to replace damaged or defective items.


  • How can I find out what pesticide training manuals I need for my license?
  • Do you have any apparel in the store in addition to what is on the website?
    • We sometimes have small amounts of additional apparel that do not appear on the website due to quantity issues, size availability, or other reasons. We welcome you to contact us at 800-226-1764 or ifasbooks@ifas.ufl.edu with your size and requirements and we will gladly check our inventory!
  • How can I special order a branded shirt?
    • Faculty and staff that are logged in on an authenticated faculty/staff account can link to our Custom Apparel Catalog from the logo items section. You can request a quote through this catalog.
    • Please contact us for more information about logos, embellishment methods, cost and time!

UF/IFAS Faculty and Staff

  • How do I receive my faculty/staff discount?
    • Please have your Gatorlink information handy and follow the UF Authentication process and link on our login page. This will update your account to faculty/staff status and allow you access to appropriate discounts.
  • How can I order with extension marketing funds or pay by invoice?
    • Unfortunately, our website cannot process these payment methods.
    • Please contact us at 800-226-1764 or ifasbooks@ifas.ufl.edu for more information on invoicing.
    • Extension marketing fund order requests can complete this order form and submit it by email or via Workfront.
  • Can I pick up my order instead of paying for shipping?
    • Yes, but unfortunately our website is set up for shipping orders and automatically charges a shipping fee. However, we can assist you by phone/email or in person!
    • You can visit the store at 1374 Sabal Palm Drive on the University of Florida campus during business hours, 8am to 5pm Monday through Friday, to make an in-person purchase. We accept major credit cards, cash and checks in our physical store.
    • You can also contact us at 800-226-1764 or ifasbooks@ifas.ufl.edu to start an order. We cannot accept credit card information by phone, but will take your order request and send a secure payment link via email.
